Someone once said if triathlon was easy, theyd have called it football. And there’s no doubt when it comes to tough, it doesnt come much tougher than Ironman. The world championships were held recently in Kona, on the big Island of Hawaii. There was a sizeable contingent of hopeful kiwis taking part, and an even more sizeable contingent of kiwi supporters. Allan Lee was one of them, and filed this report, on one of the sporting worlds greatest challenges.
